WeTransfer president Damian Bradfield sent an email to former SoundCloud employees. "Please, don't get a job," he pleased with them. He then offered the former workers $10,000 to fund their own start-up projects and ideas.

"What we would like to see is a proposal for something you could design, build or manage that could be the new mail-order record club, SoundCloud or iTunes. We aren’t a bank or a VC. We don’t want equity or thanks. We’d just like to ensure good talent doesn’t go to waste," the email stated. This is not an open call, but yet an offer strictly for the former SoundCloud employees, who were laid off.
