Update: XL have got in contact to tell us they messed up a bit, and that it's "just a photo of a detail from the screen printing room in the XL office (the label often does limited runs of screen printed posters and record sleeves)." Sorry everyone.

Original Story

Atoms for Peace, the "supergroup" spearheaded by Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich, are up to something.

Yesterday, XL Recordings posted the above illustration on their Instagram, which caused a bit of a stir. For a start, the caption read "For the benefit of all mankind #atomsforpeace", and secondly, what the hell is up with that art? Well, as pointed out by Stereogum, it seems they've borrowed the art from London band, 11 Paranoias. Intriguing.

New album? New single? New tour? Who knows.

"I'm fine with new Atoms for Peace, but I kind of want some new Radiohead first," says Instagram commenter tbrow159, and we kind of agree with him.
