White Denim recently announced the release of their seventh album Performance for release via City Slang on August 24th. They showed their rejuvenated energy with lead single 'Magazin', and today they double down on it with 'It Might Get Dark'.

The new track finds White Denim brandishing their guitar credentials in a rambling rocker that layers their various instruments into a rich and delicious open road blend. 'It Might Get Dark' is straight as an arrow, launching itself on with the determination and guile that White Denim are known for in their outrageous live shows. The Texans glaze the song with delightful layers of instrumentation, giving us a steady and stupendous ride to its conclusion.

The band has already sold out two dates at London's Moth Club on the same day - but you might be able to find a spare if you get lucky. Or, road trip, to one of these other destinations - White Denim's live show certainly justifies it.
