As we build up to Whitney's second album Forever Turned Around on August 30th, they're treating us to another preview cut called 'Used To Be Lonely'.

The new track follows a similar vein to the previous single 'Giving Up', where the bonds of a love seem to be dissolving under the pressure of real life - but Whitney aren't going to give up that easily. They open themselves completely, admitting their former solitude and expressing their thankfulness for the partnership they've found to get through the long days. Imbued by punches of golden brass, 'Used To Be Lonely' grasps the singer's worries and thrusts them aside in a gallant effort to make a final commitment to love - and judging by the ecstatic instrumental finale, it works out.

'Used To Be Lonely' was filmed all around the band's hometown of Chicago, directed by Austin Vesely.
