Justin Timberlake appeared at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards a few weeks ago - alongside country and bluegrass musician and singer, Chris Stapleton, Timberlake performed a countrified version of his 20/20 track, 'Drink You Away'. You can watch a video of that below.

It was a pretty big moment that night; the new rendition of the song has even become his first official country single, and is being played on country radio stations, according to Rolling Stone.

In addition, during an interview with TMZ, frequent collaborator Timbaland was asked if a country album from Justin Timberlake might be on the horizon, given the popularity of his foray into country.

"Now that you put it out there, why not?" Timbaland answered. "We are country. He’s from Tennessee, I’m from Virginia. It’s only right that we try to tap into what we was raised in."

Let's hope that was just a flippant remark.
