Meltdown has been giving distinguished musicians from across the world the opportunity to curate a week of art and music since 1993. This year, also the 20th anniversary of Meltdown, Yoko Ono has been tapped to plan the festivities, resulting in an incredible lineup of musicians as well as activists. As part of the festivities, Ono is bringing Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto to the stage.

Renowned German experimental musician/producer Alva Noto and Oscar-nominated composer Ryuichi Sakamoto have been creating and collaborating for over a decade, crafting some of the most powerful ambient music infused with beautiful piano and percussive textures.

The prolific pair are bringing their experimental project to a live stage, as part of the 2013 Meltdown. Performing their only UK date this year, Novo and Sakamoto play the Royal Festival Hall June 19, bringing a breathtaking visual live production manipulated by their music.

To celebrate, we're giving away tickets to see their performance. Just send your name to comps@thefourohfive.com and we'll pick a name at random.
