Yes, it is true. Wolf Alice will be releasing their debut album My Love Is Cool (a gloriously offhand title) on 22nd June via Dirty Hit Records. The London four-piece's first full-length offering to the music world arrives after last year's Creature Songs EP (which we really liked, by the way).

The band were also lovely enough to offer us some words about the release via email. "Our debut album is an amalgamation of all our favourite songs we've written within the past 3 years or so," they tell us. "We took what we've learnt from our small experience in the studio to make the best record we can at this point in time. We are so excited to share it, this is a big moment for us!" Enthusiasm is always a plus – it's more than endearing: it's infectious!

And in light of that, they've shared their new track 'Giant Peach'. Taken from the upcoming album, with its vital dynamic structure it's a crashing, progressive number that tackles you to the ground with abrasive energy, snaps you in half, breaks your ears with its distortion and screaming, and ends on a monstrous, towering riff. Giant peach indeed!
