Here's 'LORD' in all its glory. Dense, vaguely mythological imagery is punctuated by shuddering bass and quintessentially awesome-in-the-traditional-meaning harmonies. It's very Young Fathers, but sharper, tighter, whatever other jargon you can make stick that converges on the truth that sounds better than almost anything they've yet done. Complementing the tune is its abstractly life-affirming video, which you can watch below.

The video follows the announcement for their as-yet untitled third album due out next year on Ninja Tune, the band's first in three years since the brilliant White Men Are Black Men Too. Stay tuned to The 405 because you can bet every penny of your house deposit savings we'll be covering a Young Fathers sneeze.
