Moving to the next level in the indie stratosphere usually takes two steps: hype and remixes. And with the supreme level of hype coming from Young Galaxy's upcoming LP Ultramarine, it was only a matter of time before some remixes started to follow.

One of the first comes from Montreal producer Doldrums who just released his brand new Grimes-approved LP Lesser Evil, and his remix of 'New Summer.'

Doldrums, aka Airick Woodhead, removed the plush synths of the original and crafted a jilted electro filter to replace the glittery chorus. What results is a far more harrowing version of the teary-eyed single.
