Now this is what I call aesthetic. In the midst of a series of tour dates that will take them through New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Europe, internet-based dream pop quartet Yumi Zouma have unveiled the video for 'Keep It Close', the lead single from their recently released debut album Yoncalla.

Filmed by the band and edited by Jer Robert Paulin, the 'Keep It Close' visual slices and fades together close up shots of music production gear, instruments, the band members faces, and other cultural signifiers, mostly set against brightly coloured backgrounds. Recalling a scrubbed up version of the feel of 90s infomercials for luxury lifestyle, leisure and relaxation products and services, it serves as a fitting visual companion to 'Keep It Close''s bubbly synth melodies, steady house grooves, skipping percussion and front woman Christie Simpson's airy vocals.

Yoncalla is available for purchase via Yumi Zouma's Bandcamp page here. For more info on their upcoming tour dates, check in with them via social media.
