Following on from recent smasher 'Noid', experimental pop provocateur Yves Tumor has revealed his second new track in quick succession, 'Licking An Orchid'. Not much information is given about the track, aside from the fact that it features the delicate vocals of James K, and that it is overtly about getting physical "I wanna be the one to hold you closer/ Than no one has ever done before/ Some call it /Pain /Some call it torture."

Tumor's soulfully street vocals are earnest and almost cloying in their desire for human contact, before James K's words come fluttering down into the mix, giving the track a more heartfelt core. Sonically, the song rises from minor acoustic plucks into a viscous and hair-raising sonic blast, almost as though the desired physical contact between Tumor and the unnamed other has caused a cataclysm within him. It's a powerful track, made even more engrossing by the stark Daniel Sannwald video, which you can watch below.
