Covering a no wave duo from Brooklyn takes me back to the heady days of 2010 when I used to browse soundcloud with my headphones on in my pants on my bed. This track takes me back to those crazy halcyon days; Yvette sound somewhere between The Soft Moon and early (Bipolar era) Factory Floor. They don't have the violent jerking relentlessness that Factory Floor possess but in lieu of that phenomenal pace they have Luis Vasquez' gift for ebbing and brooding songs with a suprising ability to change.

'Scrape It Off' is the B side to 'Radiation', which is out now as a 7" on New York's GODMODE imprint, which is an awful name but an impressive looking label.
