Tempting Failure is an annual live art event, which aims to take its audience into a "non-stop heady mix of action that will consume the senses & the engage the mind." Each artist involved has had their work rejected or censored by the institutions where they have worked or applied to in the past. So, the ethos of Tempting Failure is one that celebrates rejection and makes a statement against the "sterilization of artistry in any form".

Curated by live artist, Thomas John Bacon, This year's Tempting Failure will take place on the 6th and 7th of April at The Island, Bristol, an old police station where rooms such as the cells, showers and exercise yard will be put to use by the artists.
