Cuushe was Kyoto-raised, is now based in Berlin, and currently performs around Europe and Asia - though her delightful music is located somewhere in your dreamy subconscious.

Well, this is how we became au faix with the sounds of Cuushe - a remix EP Girl / You Know That I am Here / But The Dream from 2012 that featured Teen Daze, Blackbird Blackbird, Julia Holter and Motion Sickness of Time was almost a conceptual entity centred around the hypnagogic state. The musical equivalent of The Science Of Sleep. A follow-up length album is now imminent, three years after previous debut LP Red Rocket Telepathy; and here Cuushe performs a track from the upcoming release.

Prior to playing in London at Cafe OTO at the start of the summer, we filmed a session with the pop singer-songwriter of 'I Love You', alongside fellow Japanese musician aus, who also helped produce the album. Both are based on Flau Records - check out the skills of aus in the Plastic Platform mix he crated for us earlier this year.

The forthcoming album titled Butterfly Case is out on 23 September 23rd via Flau.

You can watch the session below, or via our TV Section. It's also available via our Youtube page (please watch in HD when possible).
