So around this time last year we got familiar with the work of Anenon when Brian Allen Simon (the real name) released an absolute gem and one of the better tracks of 2012, 'This Is What I Meant'.

Debut album Inner Hue followed and even Laurel Halo got involved with a remix, and now the California-based producer has unveiled his first new material since then with a track titled 'Sunsets and Clocks' from the forthcoming EP of the same name. The concept of the EP is centred around a tour through Japan that Anenon experienced with fellow LA producer Matthewdavid, and features multi-textured ambient soundscapes, and flirts with almost jazz-esque sax offerings that is not surprising given his background. Anyways it's an intriguing head-nodding listen - download it for free here and wrap your head around it.

Sunsets and Clock EP is out on 16 April as a digital download on his own label Non Projects, and also as a limited photo book with some stunning imagery from Anenon himself that he took whilst in Japan.
