It's been a long time coming, but the intelligentsia have once again reared their heads. Inspired by Sarah Kane's play '4.48 Psychosis', Mental Health Cafe signals the start of the next era of Emperor Zeros reign. This time round, everything seems much tighter and more considered. The track centres around an imposing industrial riff and builds from thereon out, with a brutally direct chorus thrown in for good measure. That isn't all though folks - the treats just keep on coming. Filmed inside the notorious Fuhrerbunker, the pupil dilating visual partner utilises an arsenal of Adam Curtis footage spliced together with the captured film. All in all, it's fucking great.
The single was released yesterday through those menaces over at SWAYS Records HQ… Who else right?
Go now children - spread forth, seize the record and play until it bruises (buy here).
