Next week will mark the release of a spectacular collectors item; a photography booklet on the often criminally-underrated rap scene from Houston, Texas.

Edited by John Kugelberg, with photographs from Peter Beste, the book chronicles the scene, which is often viewed as the centerpiece of the Southwest rap movement. Included in which is this utterly massive and in depth "Houston Rap" mix, from Ojet Records in New York.

Profiled acts in the book, which will officially be released November 30th via Sinecure Books, will be; Z-Ro, Big Mike, K-Rino, Paul Wall, Screw, Pimp C and Big Hawk, and Bun B of UGK - who also contributed the forward for the book. Check here for more details and listen to the aforementioned "Houston Rap" mix below.
