Nearly four years after dropping fourth album Permalight, California's Rogue Wave have announced a new LP: Nightingale Floors.

The 10-track album, recorded by producer John Congleton (whose previous work includes Modest Mouse, The Walkmen, and last year's David Byrne & St. Vincent's Love This Giant LP) includes the positively jubilant-sounding 'College', which is available below.

In a statement about the upcoming album, band leader Zach Schwartz said: “Everyone has drama in their life. Everyone's experienced life and death and injury. Maybe us a little bit more, I don't know. I've always joked with Pat [Spurgeon, drummer]: 'Everything is trying to kill us, but we're still here.'"

Nightingale Floor is due June 4th via Vagrant Records.
