The-Dream takes aim at racism, classism and L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling on 'Black' - a song that sounds like classic R. Kelly but with, ya know, a message.

For context, Sterling was caught on tape saying some pretty racist things to his then girlfriend. In fact, his remarks were so bad that the NBA ended up fining him $2.5 million (the maximum the NBA can hand out) and banning him from the sport for life. Seems like ample enough reason to release this song, wouldn't you say?

The message at the end of the 'Black' sums up the song pretty well:

"Black isn't just a color. Black isn't just a race anymore. It's a feeling and a place from which one feels isolated by the world of the governing elite. Classism is the new racism. This is what black feels like."
