Converse Rubber Tracks sure have been tastemakers coming up the scene with showcasing and curating one-of-a-kind shows.

With no exception, they opened up for one night only the historic Tower Theater. A fitting venue to house the free Italians Do It Better showcase, the emerging label just dropped their second After Dark compilation showcasing Chromatics and Glass Candy which drew the Saturday night Los Angeles crowd downtown for a memorable show. Word of mouth, RSVPs, and free swag would convince anyone to rush in and stay late for both acts.

Returning to Los Angeles, after just supporting The xx on their last pit-stop at the Hollywood Bowl, the Portland-based quartet are quickly gaining hype. Ruth Radelet's haunting vocals accompanied with the trailing background sounds of synths through every crack of the theater made for a bewitching performance. The band capped off the night with continuous applause and appreciation for fan favourites 'Into the Black', 'Kill For Love', 'Cherry', and 'Lady'.
