Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, for the uninitiated, is a Japanese Pop sensation who is now on her third world tour. Always full of energy, colour, and joy, her music has understandably made an impact on pop lovers across the globe and the 5IVE YEARS MONSTER WORLD TOUR stop at London's Koko was an amazing celebration of just that.

The music and performances were as you'd expect if you'd seen any of her music videos. Everything is straight out of Harajuku. The stage design is irreverent, the dancing impossibly energetic, the costumes vibrant and bright - even the fans, many of whom arrived in amazing outfits. Kawaii, it's kawaii to the extreme. To those used to pop in the West, it was a sensory explosion.

Kyary always delivers a great performance with numerous interactions with the crowd - all in Japanese which many fans seemed to understand. She doesn't always have as much energy as her bangers suggest, but her backup dancers help her out enormously and kept the crowd dancing throughout the set.

If you've not listened to Kyary or seen a video yet, I'd recommend you do it - especially if you'd enjoy a wee little boost.
