Randy, raucous and unexpectedly romantic, Sex Drive follows three friends on the road trip of a lifetime! Ian Lafferty (Josh Zuckerman) cant seem to catch a break. Hes taunted by his cocksure older brother Rex, shown up in the romance department by his 14 yearold younger brother and humiliated by his job at a mall donut shop. But Ians biggest problem is that hes about to start college as a virgin! Getting nowhere with the girl of his dreams and longtime best friend Felicia (Amanda Crew), Ian resorts to the Internet for dates. He soon hooks up with Ms. Tasty, a flaming hot blonde who cant wait to get busy. The only catch: Ian has to drive 500 miles from Chicago to Knoxville to consummate the deal.Egged on by his devil-may-care pal Lance (Clark Duke), Ian risks life and limb by appropriating The Judge, Rexs prized vintage Pontiac GTO. With Lance and Felicia in tow, he hits the road for a one-time rendezvous that will rock his world! Car trouble, a stint in the pokey, a buggy tow with an Amish farmer (Seth Green) and an afternoon at a roadside carnival all complicate Ians journey. As he presses on to get to Knoxville before Ms. Tasty gives up and goes home, the trios trail of mayhem closes in on them with hilarious consequences. The Verdict - Could this movie be any funnier? The trailer literally had me in a fit of hysterics! Please check it out, you wont regret a single minute of it! Sex Drive is a brilliant continuation of the American colleague type humor genre that is so very often poorly executed and has become worn out due to it being overly mass produced to cater for its targeted demographic - Think, all the American Pie sequels that went straight to DVD and Euro Trip. Move over Super Bad/Road Trip/American Pie - Sex Drive has the credentials to be the funniest film of the year and that's not to hard of a bet to make with the film seeing the on screen return of Seth Green. Am i the only one who thinks the giant Mexican donut outfit is pure genius? The best part is, is that we've all been there. Who hasn't found themselves in the exact same scenario? Of course, we've all been naive enough to believe in our youth that those we connected with online were super hot models ( speak for yourself, i hear you mutter ) - and as guys Sex Drive doesn't blame us for wanting to act cool in such a desperate time of adolescents, nor does it make any attempt to hide our embarrassing past times by tugging at things we've all laughed at over a couple of beers. And yes, you saw correctly - Fall Out Boy do appear in the film! Sweet! Look out for a review of Sex Drive when it hits theaters!
