Label Robot elephant Release date 08/02/10 Speak & The Spells MySpace Speak & The Spells, hailing from London and playing a good mix of psychobilly and garage punk, go a little into the morbid side of the spectrum with 'She's dead', a song about a recently deceased loved one. A few screams and a some archetypical scary noises are just added before the instrumental break, which is begging to make you surf on the nearest coffin you can nick. In the end, it's a dark (but cheeky) surfing melody that feels like an eulogy trapped inside a reverb pedal and works quite well. Just don't add it to a loved one's mix cd. Might give the wrong impression. Photobucket
