If you're a fan of Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo, keep your eyes peeled next time you travel through Oakland International Airport: you'll be able to buy two of the brand's items, the thermal heat-tech t-shirt and the lightweight down jacket, through a vending machine.

The reason why these were the two items chosen to feature on the new on-the-go technology is that they can both be easily conditioned inside the small machine, but also because they are both generally needed by travellers.

Although Oakland International Airport has the honours of being the first one to feature the new machines, ten others will soon be installed at other US airports and shopping centres.
