For those with children that want to have a bit of creative fun, speaker company Bose has introduced its clever new speaker system crafted specifically for a young, adventurous audience: the Speaker Cube.

The $149 speaker system comes in an incomplete package, only working after the construction of the object is finished. The speaker comes with all parts included and an easy step-by-step guide, showing the framework and mechanics of the device. Once complete, it can be paired with any device that features Bluetooth 3.0 or higher and an auxiliary port. The included "building activities" feature with the device, however, is only compatible with an iOS device. But just listening to music on the speaker can be done regardless of operating system.

Finishing construction of the device takes around an hour, according to Bose, but with included activities kids have an option to explore an array of mechanical capabilities. For more details, head over to the Speaker Cube page via BOSEbuild.
