Up till now the only way you could've used FL Studio (or Fruity Loops as originally known) on your Apple Mac was by running Windows on your Mac, not the most hassle-free of solutions. Now, however the maker of this DAW, Image Line, have released an alpha version of FL Studio 12 that's Apple-compatible, as they announced they'd be releasing Mac software back in December 2014.

But, of course, being in this alpha testing mode means there's still a few things to fix – for instance, there being no support for VST/AU plugins outside of FL's stock plugins, and no MIDI input/output available yet. You can view a full list of the to-be-fixed features here.
