Effects aficionados are fairly well-aware of the Frantone Electronics brand. One of the U.S.'s most-beloved, if not unappreciated production lines in the effects industry has crafted a myriad of distinctive pedals since its inception in 1994 until its temporary hiatus starting in 2009. However, after returning earlier this year with the reproduction of its Peachfuzz effect pedal via Kickstarter, which sold out in less than two weeks, Frantone has decided to bring back yet another of its unique creations; the Cream Puff.

With a little over two weeks to go in its Kickstarter campaign, Frantone is asking pledges to donate at least $25. Those who do will receive their very own bag of Frantone goodies. And for those who wish to donate $295 - the max for the campaign - they will be given their own entirely hand-crafted, U.S.-made Cream Puff pedal. For those unaware of the blindingly awesome effects the Cream Puff is capable of, check out this demonstration below:

The hypnotic, seething distortion brought out by the pedal brings out frequencies similar to My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr., Tony Molina, and even drone metal. Head over to the Kickstarter page for more details.
