Instagram has welcomed a couple more updates and just like it did with their stories feature, they've borrowed their ideas from other social media platforms. This time, it's with video clips in Instagram Direct, where they've snatched the ideas behind Snapchat and Twitter. Users will now be able to record live content and pin comments, as well offering the ability to privately send photos and videos directly.

"We want Instagram to be a place where you can share all of your moments, to create a pressure-free space to do so," Kevin Weil, head of product at Instagram, said.
