This December, Pioneer will release its brand new, reasonably affordable XDJ-700 CDJ model. This model, however, will be one of the first of its kind - operating without the use of an actual CD. Pioneer reports that the model will operate with the use of a USB, via computer or mobile device.

The new model is touted as one of the most compact CDJs ever and comes complete with a removable stand and a 7-inch full-scale LCD touchscreen. The model also boasts many of the same features that came complete with the previous XDJ-1000 model, including instant compatibility with Pioneer's recently updated Rekordbox software. The included Pro DJ link also allows the user to have access across four different players or laptops. Prices for the product will reportedly start at €699 each.
