In an effort to further compete with Sonos, German company Raumfeld have announced new supporting features for its ever-expanding series of speakers.

Previously, Raumfeld users were limited with the number of supporting software - especially compared to Sonos. However, users will now be able to access SoundCloud and Google Cast - the latter of which will allow users to operate the system from their computer, rather than only through a mobile interface. Users can now use the two new formats along with Tidal, TuneIn, Last.fm, and Spotify Connect.

According to The Verge, using Google Cast will allow users to access "Pandora, Google Play Music, and iHeartRadio" along with the other aforementioned software. SoundCloud integration is expected to begin February 1st on iOS and Android and Google Cast should arrive in the spring.
