For the second consecutive year, high-end turntable manufacturer Rega Research will be the official turntable and audio partner for Record Store Day in the UK.

Paul Darwin, Rega's Head of Sales, said, "After the massive success of Record Store Day 2015 it was a no brainer for us to be involved again. The shared promotion of vinyl and its means of reproduction coupled with support for independent retailers matches our ethos, policies and dealers directly and we look forward to working in tandem again this coming year."

"It's fantastic to continue working with Rega after such a successful year," said Entertainment Retailers Association CEO Kim Bayley. "With their independent heritage and strong affinity to vinyl culture, they really are the perfect partner for Record Store Day and we are looking forward to working together for 2016's event."

500 of the Southend on Sea company's Record Store Day-branded turntables sold out quickly during the 2015 event, which included 12 special editions signed by the likes of Liam Gallagher, Royal Blood and Suede.
