Gadgets mixing the old analogue world with the latest technologies seem to be an everlasting tendency these days. Confirming this is Roland's latest product, a handheld audio recorder called R-07 that can be controlled from your smartphone or even from an Apple Watch.

The wireless abilities of the recorder allows the user to place it wherever they want, but also to connect it to headphones or speakers via Bluetooth -- after all, cables seem to be destined to become extinct. Additionally, the R-07 also includes a one-touch scene mode that enables the user to insert preset setting such as sample rate, limiter, record mode, etc. It supports MP3 and WAV formats, has two built-in microphones, and can be powered up via USB or using two AA batteries, à l'ancienne.
