Spotify has some good and bad news. The good is that the streaming service has nearly doubled its revenue in 2015. The bad news is that the company still managed to lose €173 million. Spotify's revenue was €1.95 billion last year, an increase of 81% from €1.08 billion in 2014, while net loss were €173.1 million, up 6.7% from €162.3 million the previous year. They've never officially been profitable, but they don't seem to be in too much trouble either.

"We face competition from players with substantial resources at their disposal," Spotify directors Martin Loentzon and Par-Jorgen Parson. "The group intends to continue making significant investments in developing new products."
