Some good news for DJs. Spotify has followed in Apple Music's footsteps and will begin to offer users a chance to listen to full DJ mixes on their streaming service. Their new deal with Dubset means that DJs can upload mixes and remixes to the services, with royalties being paid to rights holders of each track used as well as the mix creators themselves. The deal follows a similar one between Apple Music and Dubset, which was announced in March but there is no sign of when each deal on either streaming service will be implemented.

"Our number one job at Spotify is to deliver great music to fans whenever and wherever they want to listen to it. This deal with Dubset enables us to serve fans of dance music with the mixes they crave while ensuring that artists, labels and publishers get paid fairly. It’s a great day for music fans all over the world," Stefan Blom, chief content officer at Spotify said about the deal.
