The Tile Pro

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018The Tile Pro is one of only a handful of products that have managed to make back-to-back appearances on our annual Christmas Gift Guide, so yeah, you could call it a 405 favourite. Whether it's a backpack, coat, keys, or anything really, the Tile Pro will provide you peace of mind due to its fantastic range (300ft), volume, and battery life (1-year, and replaceable). If you're on the lookout for a Bluetooth tracker, the Tile Pro is easily the best on the market.

The Garmin vívoactive® 3 Music smartwatch

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018Oustide of running shoes, smartwatches cause the most heated debates amongst runners - which seems like an obvious point given the number of models available to buy these days. In our opinion, if you're a company making smartwatches without some form of onboard memory to store music, you're doing it all wrong. Thankfully, Garmin know what they're doing. Case in point, the vívoactive® 3 Music - which provides you with all the things you'd expect from a smartwatch - workouts, contactless payments, apps, notifications - but with enough storage to carry all your music with you. This means you could go out for a run without carrying your phone. Perfect.

The Oculus Go

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018VR is still about a decade away from reaching its true potential - and more importantly, being accessible for the average person - but the Oculus Go is an important step in the right direction. If the idea of dropping thousands on a high-end VR system seems like a pain in the ass, and the £30 models powered by your phone left you disaapointed, then the Oculus Go might be worth a shot. It's all self-contained, so no need for your phone - plus, you'll have access to a massive library of VR apps/games, including the likes of Netflix and NextVR.

We're so close.

The MATRIX PowerWatch

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018A smartwatch that you don't have to charge? No, we're not selling you snake oil here, this is the real deal. The MATRIX PowerWatch is powered by your body heat, which is some real Star Trek tech if you ask us. Ok, so it's not as feature-rich as the likes of the Garmin found above, but if you're constantly cursing at your iWhatever for running out of battery every evening, then this might be a good alternative.

The Epic Sport Wireless Earbuds

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018Unlike the MATRIX PowerWatch, the Epic Sport Wireless Earbuds can't be charged via your body heat, but with a 12-hour battery life, charging won't be a massive issue. They outlast most fitness (or non-fitness) headphones with ease, but that's not their only selling point though, as the sound quality is incedibly rich, exceeding its modest price tag. One of our favourite finds of the year.

The SAFEGO portable safe

The 405 Christmas Gift Guide 2018If a thief wanted to get into the SAFEGO portable safe, they could. But they'd probably be tempted to give it a miss, which you can't really say about most portable devices, such as your backpack. As you can tell from the picture above, it's a simple safe that you can carry with you wherever you go, providing an extra layer of security (assuming it's attached to something that can't just be picked up and carried away) when you're on the beach, or at a hotel, or at the park etc etc.

Stay safe, folks.
