There comes a point in time where, psychologically, having a plethora of choices causes one to not actually make a choice. For those more familiar with the concept, this is the Paradox Of Choice - in that when given so many choices is actually less beneficial sometimes. This is where the joy of a random or shuffle button comes into play, but those are largely relegated to music. Now, with a new Chrome extension developed by AllFlicks, that ease of randomness can come to Netflix.

Relegated to Chrome currently, the feature adds a button to the top of your screen and instantly goes to a random movie, TV show, documentary, or other feature when pressed. The parameters of what the user wants to watch can also be altered, so if you aren't into inspirational '80s sports movies and shows for toddlers, no worries.

According to TNW, "the extension has now been updated with support for Netflix’s India library. The latest version works in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Sweden, the UK and the US."
