Mary Rose and Chris Chidiac are Polarheart - a Sydney based electro-pop duo who first gained some substantial online interest with the release of their debut single 'Paralyse' back in May of 2014, gaining some 60,000 plays on Soundcloud to date with little promotion. Since then, the pair have slowly been working on new music in the studio while gigging away in their home country.

Armed with a brand new single for 2015, Polarheart unveil 'Hypnotise', which by all means carries on much of the sentiments and foundations laid out in 'Paralyse', still manages to have a life all its own. Lyrically, the track speaks of the longing to keep someone in your life whose feelings for you aren't as strong as yours for them. The video, directed by Alexander Leeway is a dark and moody affair, filled with polished silhouette shots and could easily be the lovechild of CHVRCHES' video for 'Lies' and Jessie Ware's 'Tough Love' clip. Still, the track is so well composed and constructed, it's incredibly difficult to hate on it.

'Hypnotise' will be released on April 17 via Pavement Records in Australia with a full length debut expected later this year.
